James Otto Bahr

James Otto Bahr, 87, passed away June 29, 2018, at his home in Liberty, MO. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, July 7, at Floral Hills Cemetery, Blue Ridge at Gregory, Raytown. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the VFW.

Jim was born January 22, 1931, in Carroll County, MO, the son of Raymond and Alberta (Ballenger) Bahr. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Jim owned and operated Pool Servitors, Inc. before he retired.

Along with his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Alma (Naylor) Bahr; children, Pam Van Saun and DeWayne "Jimmy" Bahr; and brother, Raymond Bahr, Jr. Survivors include four children, Ray Bahr (Tere), David Bahr (Cindy), Chris Bahr (Donna) and Quinn Bahr; sisters, Betty Heavener and Janearl Shatto; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a great-great grandson.
