Mary E. Cochrane

October 19, 1946 — July 15, 2018

Mary E. (Ault) Cochrane, 71, life long resident of Missouri, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2018, with her family by her side.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, July 20th, at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri.

Mary was born October 19, 1946, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the daughter of Marion & Viola (Foster) Ault Sr.

Along with her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil F. Cochrane Jr, her brother, Thomas Ault and her sister, Emma Jean Ault (infant).

She loved the Lord and received Jesus as her Lord and Savior on October 17, 1999 and was baptized on October 31, 1999. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Prior to her passing she had celebrated her great grand baby’s birthdays, a church gathering, her grandson’s birthday, and 4th of July, one of her favorite holidays. She was also days away from moving out to the country with her daughter. Mary had been working as a cashier at the Walmart in Lee’s Summit and had previously worked at the Walmart in Warsaw for many years prior.

Survivors include her children; Darla R. (Cochrane) Mentesana and her husband Christopher, John D. Cochrane and his wife Kara; 6 Grandchildren, Nadia R. (Mentesana) Cook and her husband Josh, Cara R. (Mentesana) Neer and her husband Tony, Caleb Cochrane and his wife Kenzie, Noah Mentesana, Nathan Mentesana, and Abby Cochrane; 2 great grandchildren, Elijah David Cook and Titus Anthony Neer; 4 brothers; Marion Ault and his wife Betty, Donald Ault, Charles (Chuck) Ault and his wife Ellen, Ronnie Miller and his wife Julie along with many nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.

Service: 2PM, Friday, July 20, 2018 at Green Lawn Cemetery

Visitation: 1-2PM, Friday, July 20, 2018 at Park Lawn Funeral Home
