Alice Jewell Holt

Alice Jewell (Gaede) Holt, 85, of Excelsior Springs, passed away suddenly on May 8, 2018, at home. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Friday, May 11, and services 1:30 pm Saturday, May 12, all at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty. Burial will follow at Aubry Cemetery, Stilwell, KS.

Alice was born August 7, 1932, in Kenneth, KS, the daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Abbie Gail (Morrow) Witherspoon. Along with her parents, Alice was preceded in death by 11 siblings. She leaves her husband, James Holt; son, Steven Gaede; daughter, Susan Stone; three grandsons, Robbie, Kaleb and Benjamin; and sister, Eleanor Baker.
