In Loving Memory of
Margaret Sue (Graham) Radtke
September 24, 1941 - November 20, 2021

Margaret Sue (Graham) Radtke, 80, of the Kansas City Northland, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2021, at Liberty Hospital with her children at her side. She was known to all who loved and knew her as Sue.

Sue was born September 24, 1941, in Peoria, Illinois, the eldest of two children of Carrol Maurice and Rosalyn Virginia (Cantrall) Graham. She was united in marriage to John Edward Radtke on June 24, 1962, and they spent 51 wonderful years together until his death in 2013. They were blessed with three children and six grandchildren.

Sue was a devoted homemaker, mother and wife. She returned to work as her children grew and worked many years in the insurance industry in Customer Service and as an Underwriter. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Liberty, Missouri and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Sue volunteered throughout her life for many wonderful charities including Bikers for Babies, Wayside Waifs, various school committees and was a long standing member of the Elkhart, Illinois Homecoming Committee. Sue enjoyed helping those in need and visiting with all.

One of Sue’s greatest gifts was experimenting in the kitchen. She never made the same meal twice, always doctoring the recipe with one of her special secret ingredients. Sue loved to read, sew and crochet. She often made matching outfits for her daughters in their youth. Her greatest love was her family. She would go above and beyond for any and all of her children and grandchildren. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she would deck the halls with love, make candy creations galore and help everyone feel the spirit of giving.

Survivors include Sue's children: Susan Berglund (Stephen), April McCracken (Jay) and John Radtke II (Kerri); grandchildren, Katie Berglund, Jacob Berglund (Natalie), Sam McCracken, Charlie McCracken, Hannah Radtke and Max Radtke; brother, Mauriece Graham (Valentina); as well as nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a service celebrating Sue's life at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, November 27 at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO. Burial and gravesite prayer will immediately follow at Longview Memorial Gardens.
