Jack E. Adams Jack E. Adams (The Gas Man), 94, of Gladstone, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home on August 17, 2018. Jack was born June 18, 1924 in Wichita, Kansas. Jack is survived by his wife of 44 years, Dona Lillian Adams. He had three children; David, Peggy and Kyle, stepdaughter Kristi Arreguin; seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Jack graduated from Washburn University in 1942. In May of 1943, he was called into active duty in the United States Navy. He spent 3 years in the service at Banana River Naval Air Station, Cocoa Beach, Florida. Jack started to work with the Gas Service Company in 1951 and retired from there in 1986. After retirement, he enjoyed golfing and spending time with his wife, family and friends at Cocoa Beach, where they owned a condo.
A Celebration of Jack's life will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Vineyard Church,
