Jude Marie Adams

Jude Marie Adams, 84, of the Kansas City Northland, passed away January 21, 2021 at her home, surrounded by family.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Tuesday, January 26, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 27, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Shoal Creek, 6751 NE 70th Street, Kansas City, MO. Burial will follow in Glenridge Cemetery.

Jude was born September 23, 1936, in St. Joseph, MO, the eldest of two daughters of George Leroy and Clara Constance (Abbott) Lippold. She was united in marriage to John Franklin Adams on December 19, 1953 and they were blessed with eight children. Jude worked many years for Hallmark, including personalizing greeting cards for the Hall family. She retired from Sears in the Tech Sales Department. Jude was a lifelong, faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Along with her parents, Jude was preceded in death by her husband of 58+ years, John Franklin Adams; daughter, Jill Annette Merrill; and sister, Janice Kelly.

Survivors include her daughters, Jan Adams-Cooper (Scott), Jonna Forbes (Kim), Jolene Glunt ( Donald) and Jamille Sanford (Jeff); sons, John Franklin Adams II, Jared Leroy Adams and Jason Samuel Adams (Sarah); son-in-law, Michael Dean Merrill (Michele); brother-in-law, Richard Kelly; step-mother, Elaine Lippold; 36 grandchildren; 59 great grandchildren, with at least 3 more on the way; and numerous nieces,  nephews, other family members and friends.
