Sr. Thomas Wayne Albertson

Thomas W. Albertson Sr., 87, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, passing peacefully in his sleep on November 5, 2020. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am Friday, November 13th at Country Meadows Baptist Church, 4901 S. Lee’s Summit Rd. Funeral services will begin at 10:00am. Burial with military honors will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Country Meadows Baptist Church, 4901 S. Lee’s Summit Rd., Kansas City, MO 64136.

Tom was born on November 30, 1932 in Eldon, MO. Tom was married to his wife Shirley Ann Albertson for 57 years until her death in 2010. He leaves his children Thomas "Wayne" Albertson, Jr., Joe (Dee) Albertson, Nancy (Rai) Gatapia; sister, Darlene Rickerson; three grandchildren, Stephanie (Jensen) Petersen, Brandon Roberts and Justin (Kate) Roberts; and four great grandchildren, Joseph and Joshua Petersen, Elouise and Ada Roberts. Tom was preceded in death by his parents David Lee Albertson Sr. and Edith Marie Albertson Barker; his brother, David Lee Albertson Jr.
