Alfred C. Thomas, Jr. was born December 29th, 1937 to Alfred C. Thomas, Sr. and Florinda Thomas who lovingly referred to him as A.C.

He was a Kansas City, Missouri native and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1956 and attended junior college and the University of Missouri. He kept in touch with many of his high school classmates and was always grateful for the friendships he forged in his youth.

He was married to the love of his life in 1958 to Lilly R. Standifer and they celebrated 66 years of marriage. He told everyone Lilly spoiled him rotten! This union was blessed with two daughters. He was not only a Godly man, he was a family-oriented person and was greatly loved by his parents, siblings, wife and daughter and many others.

A.C. became affiliated with Paseo Baptist Church at 6 months of age and remained a faithful member until his passing. He was honored and privileged to serve as a Boy Scout leader, a Sunday School teacher and an ordained Deacon. In 2014 he was recognized and presented with the title of Deacon Emeritus/Elder after serving 46 years on the Paseo Baptist Church Deacon Board. His dedication and faithfulness to his service was always a source of inspiration and a Godly example for his family.
