Debra Sue Allen, 68, of the Kansas City Northland, passed away January 28, 2023.

Debbie was born July 28, 1954, in Kansas City, MO, the youngest of three daughters of Edward and Vivian M. (Golston) Allen. Her parents preceded her in death.

Debbie was a member of the first graduating class of Winnetonka High School in 1972 and later received her Associate’s degree from Longview Community College.

Debbie worked many years for Farmland Industries, Girl Scouts of America and the Federal government at the Census Bureau, NOAA and the FAA. She retired from the FAA on December 30, 2022. Debbie was a member of South Crysler Restoration Branch in Independence.

Survivors include her sisters, Barbara Siebert (Lane) and Cynthia Hunter (Bill); nieces and nephews, Michael Zinn (Ika), Alec Siebert (Janina), Linde Zinn, Stephanie Chiles (Jared), Emily Bryant (Kyle) and Natalie Prater (Michael); 15 great nieces and nephews and two great-great nieces; as well as cousins, other family members and many friends, including her beloved dog Winnie.

Visitation will be 10AM, with memorial services to follow at 11AM, Saturday, February 11 at South Crysler Restoration Branch, 16101 Salisbury Rd., Independence, Missouri.

Debbie was a grateful kidney transplant recipient in April 2020. Therefore, the family suggests memorials in her name to the University of Kansas Health System Kidney Transplant Program.
