De’Shaun’s Journey
De'Shaun Terrell Allen, beloved father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, passed unexpectedly on June 24, 2019. He was born October 6, 1985, in Chicago, Illinois where he spent his early teenage years. During this time De’Shaun was baptised. De’Shaun and his family then moved to the Liberty area in 2000. De’Shaun attended Liberty High School and fell in love with sports. De’Shaun was a running back for the football team and a member of the track team where he excelled in the long jump. De’Shaun Graduated from Liberty High School in 2004.
De'Shaun was preceded in death by an infant son, De'ManiDe'Shaun Allen; and grandmother, Bobbie Sias. He leaves to treasure his memory, three children, De'Miyah Jayde Allen (age 8), Zendaya Aries Allen (age 4) and Zayne Andrew Allen (age 11 months); his mom and dad, Jacquelyn and Kevin Williams; sister, Precious Monique Williams; nephew, Omari Andre Williams; niece, OnystiAndreyahSeawood; grandmother, Dora Green; uncles, Calvin Allen and Jonathan Williams; aunts, Katina Sias and KatrianeSias-Dale; as well as many cousins, other family members and friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
De’Shaun had a true passion for music, at any given time you might find him cleaning house while listening to old school jams. De’Shaun had the biggest heart and warmest smile. A laugh so contagious it could fill a room. A person always willing to put others needs before his own, with his children being the first priority. No matter the time of day, no matter the circumstances he was always willing to go above and beyond and run the distance to make his children happy. He was greatly loved by so many and will be missed by many more. Each of us having our own forever lasting memories and moments we cherished with him.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm, Sunday, June 30, 2019, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm.
