I am so sorry to hear the news. My family and I were neighbors with the Allgaier's for many, many years and I also knew Dan at the VFW. My heart goes out to the family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace, Dan.

My father was an amazing man. I never met a person more eager to laugh and make others laugh. The best story teller ever, his animation was priceless. His beliefs were strong. Love your wife your family, God and country. With out a doubt the most patriotic person I've ever known. And he was so sincere about it. The star spangled banner put a lump in his throat every time he heard it.He believed in traditions that have been passed down for years.Like hunting, fishing, camping, and boating and always with the family. He was an inspiration to me . He will forever be in my heart and the memories we made. I will see you at the gates of heaven. May you rest in peace daddy.
