Johnny Wray Arnold

Johnny "Wray" Arnold, 78, of Liberty, MO, passed peacefully on December 10, 2020, with his four children and other family members by his side.

Wray was born June 26, 1942, in Bunceton, MO, the fourth of nine children of John Walter and Laura Frances (Williams) Arnold.

He was a Crane Operator and member of Operating Engineers Local 101 from July 1, 1966 to August 1, 2001 when he retired. He was also a believer in God and Jesus Christ as his Savior. Wray loved his family, fishing, riding four-wheelers, tinkering in his garage, listening to country music, making Christmas candy and enjoyed family dinners.

Along with his parents, Wray was preceded in death by his former wife and dear friend, Patricia Lash; and five siblings: Donna Mae Spor, Billy Arnold, Daryl Arnold, Infant Donald Arnold and Sharon Wilde.

Survivors include his wife, Beulah "Carmy" Arnold; children: Richie Gordon (Kelly), Lynnette Shattuck (Jay), Johnny Arnold (Kelly) and Kenny Arnold; grandchildren: Ashley, Chad, Skylar, Eric, Lindsey, Stevie, Kenny Jr. and Austin; eight great grandchildren; siblings: Glenn Arnold, Deanie Wilks and Brenda Chuning; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by a service celebrating Wray's life at 2:00 pm, on Thursday, December 17, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO. Wray would want everyone dressed in their jeans and cowboy boots. Interment will follow at Glenridge Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to NorthCare Hospice House.
