Robert Leroy "Rob" Bailey, III, 35, of Cedar Rapids, IA, and formerly of Kansas City, passed away unexpectedly on December 7, 2019, at his home. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by a service celebrating Rob's life at 11:00 am, on Saturday, December 21, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO. Burial will follow at Buckner Hill Cemetery in Buckner, MO. Memorials to a gofundme account for the benefit of Rob's daughter, Sophia, would be greatly appreciated:

Rob was born October 14, 1984, in Kansas City, MO. He attended Park Hill High School and graduated from Oak Park High School. Rob was employed at CCB Packaging and was a member of Springs of Life Church in Cedar Rapids.

Rob leaves his daughter, Sophia Bailey; fiance' and her son, Danette and Gage Rebal; parents, Ronda and Dennis Rupp, and Bob and Tammy Bailey; sister and her husband, Marissa Bailey and Matthew Goin, and their children, Addyson, Mattinglee and Auleo; step-siblings and spouses: Tyler and Bethany Rupp, and their sons, Levi and Brady, Shannon and Jess Bonneau, and their daughters, Lucy and Lana, and Nicole and Mike Maloney, and their son, Christian. Rob also leaves his grandparents, Keith and Sandra Querry and Juanita Bailey; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends. He was loved and will be greatly missed by all.

Service Information

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by a service celebrating Rob’s life at 11:00 am, on Saturday, December 21, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO. Burial will follow at Buckner Hill Cemetery in Buckner, MO.
