Barbara Bindel

Barbara J. Bindel, 81, passed away peacefully after a short illness surrounded by her family at Liberty Hospital, January 29, 2025. Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00am Monday, February 3, 2025, at Saint James Catholic Church, 309 S. Stewart Rd, Liberty, MO 64068 Visitation will be from 10-1045 followed by a Rosary prior to the service. Interment will be in Glenridge Cemetery, Liberty, MO. The family suggest memorial contributions be given to St. James Catholic Church. 

Barbara was born on August 24, 1943 in Winchester, Kansas, the third of five children of Norbert E. and Clara (Amend) Kramer. She was united in marriage to Gerald "Jerry" Bindel on September 30, 1961. Barbara worked as a Cost Specialist for Hallmark Cards from 1978-1998. She was a lifelong Catholic and was a member of St. James Catholic Church and the Kearney Quilting Guild. 

Barbara was a devoted Mother and Grandmother. She had a passion for quilting and loved spending time with her children and their families. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry and Her brother Raymond Kramer. 

She is survived by her children, Randy Bindel (Mary Ann), Lisa Bindel, Michael Bindel (Rebecca), Jeff Bindel and Jennifer Beumer (Paul); Grandchildren Matt (Tiffany), Robin, Kristopher (Josie), Nicolas, Kirk, Makayla, Makenna, and Bradley. 14 Great Grandchildren. 3 Siblings Tom Kramer, Marilyn Pollard, Karen Weber
