Matthew Harrison Beal

Matthew Harrison Beal, born James Leroy Mimms, 53, passed away January 4, 2023. Matthew was born and raised on the East Coast but built his life in the Midwest. He received his Law Degree from the University of Kansas. Matthew loved to travel, spending time with family, was a lover of dogs and was a very kind and caring person. He would volunteer with groups and on his own to help the homeless. Matthew has done many things in his life including sailing, Seminary School, EMT, IT, Photography and study Law. In his spare time, he loved to take photos of nature and family.

Matthew is survived by his wife Angela Beal, his four children: Owen Beal, Sarah Basile, Savanah Beal and Megan Beal; his stepchildren: Dion Williams, Dylan Williams, Krystina Whitehead, and Keileigh Whitehead; and his nine grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 1PM, Friday, January 20 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri.
