Arthur James Beasley Sr., 62, of Kansas City, Missouri went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 18, 2019. Arthur was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on April 19, 1957 to Joseph Beasley (deceased) and Elizabeth Ann Beasley. Arthur accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age and became a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in College Station, Arkansas. He was a longtime member of Belton Assembly of God Church, were he served as a greeter and Sunday school teacher.

He was united in Holy Matrimony to Patricia Johnson on February 10, 1979. This union included three daughters and three sons. Arthur was a long-time owner/operator of his own construction company and also served his community as both a football and basketball coach. He had a great love for people and greatly valued mentoring young men. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia A. Beasley; son Terrance J. Evans (Jene); daughter Chandra E. Beasley; daughter Kimberly L. Beasley; daughter Candice R. Beasley; son Arthur J. Beasley, Jr. (Alexandra); son Christopher R. Beasley; grandchildren; Kylon Evans, J’siah Evans, Roman Beasley, Braxton Beasley, Hudson Beasley, and Harrison Beasley; mother; Elizabeth A. Beasley; siblings; Leroy, Gregory, LaFaye, Dale, Valerie, and Michael (deceased), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Homegoing services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2019, at New Generation Christian Center, 800 NW Commerce Dr., Lee's Summit, MO. Visitation will begin at 9am and services will start at 11am. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery. Funeral Services entrusted to Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd. Kansas City, MO 64138.
