Betty Virginia Taylor

Betty Virginia Taylor, 93, passed away February 8, 2024.  Betty was born February 8, 1931 in Lamar, Missouri to Ruby Fyan Ryder and Willa Ellen (Clark) Ryder.  She graduated from Lamar High School, attended Pittsburg State University and got her diploma from Mount Carmel Nursing School.  Betty was a 30 year employee of Research Medical Center.

Betty was married in 1955 to Deward Taylor who preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters.  Survivors include her daughter Kathleen Taylor of Hanover, Minnesota; son Deward Taylor of Kansas City, Missouri; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 12PM, with services to follow at 1PM, Tuesday, February 13 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri; burial in Green Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial san d contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
