Beverly Miller

August 19, 1939 — August 29, 2024

Beverly Miller (Martin), affectionately known as Nanny to her grandchildren, 85, died peacefully on August 29th, 2024. Beverly was born on August 19th, 1939 in St. Louis, Missouri to Herbert and Lucille Martin. She graduated from Vienna High School in 1957. She married the love of her life, Delbert, on August 6th, 1960 in Vienna, Missouri. They would go on to be married for 61 years. Over the course of their marriage, they lived in a number of different places. They were stationed in Anchorage, Alaska when the great earthquake of 1964 took place. They also lived in several towns in Missouri such as St. Louis, Waynesville, Columbia, and Kansas City.

Beverly and Delbert had 3 children: Randall, Dana, and Heather. Beverly was an incredible mother and encourager to her children. She was a dedicated church member wherever she lived, especially at Kenner Church of God and First Baptist North Kansas City. Over the years, she served in a number of different ways including playing piano/organ. Beverly was an avid traveler, master gardener, and chocolate connoisseur. More than all of these, Nanny loved her children and grandchildren. She never missed a youth sporting event or school concert. She was a model mother and grandmother. Above all else, Beverly loved Jesus and is now joining in with the eternal choir singing praises to her Savior.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Lucille Martin, husband Delbert Miller, and son Randall. Beverly is survived by her daughters Dana Eissler (husband Chuck) and Heather Bleyenberg, grandchildren Caleb Eissler (wife Carlie), Olivia Finley (husband Kenny), Shelby Fagan, and Parker Bleyenberg; great-grandchildren Lily and Arlie (mother Shelby).
