March 10, 1939 — August 20, 2021
Monya Louise (McClaren) Bland, 82, of Wexford Place in the Kansas City Northland, passed away August 20, 2021 at Liberty Hospital.
Monya was born March 10, 1939, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Sam McClaren and Thelma (Aubry) McClaren. Along with her parents, Monya was preceded in death by a son, Danny Bland; and brothers, Jeff Aubry and Denny McClaren.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Richard Bland; sister, Nancy Dunwald; brother, Sam McClaren; daughter, Deb Bland; daughter-in-law, Chris Cosgrove; son, David Bland; daughter-in-law, Mery Bland; granddaughters, Monya Bland and Jamie Nafzinger; grandsons, AJ Taylor and Blake Nafzinger; and great granddaughter, Madeline Nafzinger.
A memorial celebration via Zoom will be held at 1:00 pm (CST) Sunday, August 29, 2021.
