Wilma Lois Roberts Bledsoe, 84, of Liberty, MO, passed away March 4, 2021. With the sunrise on that morning, our mom began her heavenly journey to rejoin our dad in the great beyond.
Wilma was born in Versailles, MO on December 24, 1936. She was married to Richard Bledsoe on September 9, 1955. Wilma worked in the banking industry for 25 years and was a certified tax preparer. She enjoyed helping and talking to people, whether it be through work or in day to day life.
She is survived by her married children, Rick and Yanan Bledsoe, Vicki and Mike McClure, and four grandchildren, Riya, Alex, Leeya and Caitlynn. She also leaves a brother, Harold Roberts and wife Lois; sister, Jeannie Pittman; brother-in-law, Johnny Bledsoe; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Wilma is preceded in death by her father, William Roberts; mother, Lois (Robinett) Roark; step-father, Joe Roark; husband of 59 years, Richard Bledsoe; and siblings, Millard, Pauline, Helen, Ernie and Arnold.
Wilma always put others before herself. She put passion in everything she did including loving her children and grandchildren. This passion for giving is something that her family will always remember and honor her by. Anytime she walked into a room you could feel her positive energy lift you up. Her laughs and smiles will remain permanently in our memories and her grandchildren will always look up to her in aspiration. We will miss everything about her...her cooking, her hugs, her night time talks, her games and gardens, and midday naps. Everything about her was beautiful and it is our highest hope to be even remotely similar to her.
