Ernest “Ernie” E. Block

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Ernest (Ernie) E. Block, 80 of KC MO will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday 9-29-18. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Andrews the Apostle Church in Gladstone, MO with luncheon at the church afterward.

Ernest E. Block, born 12-7-37 in Sanborn, IA, was united in marriage to Nancy L. Block for 35 years.

Survivors include daughters Brenda Swaggart, husband Greg, Bobbi Chamberlain, husband David, Pamela Curlett, husband Chris and preceded in death by daughter Vicki Brewer, former husband Mike, and step-son Joseph J. Milanowski, wife Amy.

Grandchildren Kayleigh, Ali, Shane, Kelsey, Quinn, and Trey Swaggart; Mandi Chamberlain, Hannah Iversen, husband Jake; Zachary and Sara Brewer; Kristina and Nikki Curlett, and greatgrandson Arlo Iversen.

Ernie was a veteran of the United States Army. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Andrews the Apostle Church or the Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Eucharist.
