Bob Edward Redden

Bob Edward Redden died peacefully at home during the early hours on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. How do you sum up the life of someone like Bob Redden... it depends on who you talk to. Honey to one, dad to three, and Papaw to those who were truly lucky. Bob was a family man through and through. He married his amazing wife in 1976 and they spent their lifetime building his imperfect family. Bob was blessed to have five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren 

Bob was born in Moline, Illinois in 1954. However, he always remembered and spoke of his childhood in Phoenix, Arizona. He moved back to the Midwest during the mid 70’s. Soon after, he met the love of his life and they began the family life. Bob needed a career to now support his growing family so he began working at Milbank Manufacturing, where he joined the Steelworkers union, and remained for the next 43 years before retiring. 

 Bob is preceded in death by daughter, Jennifer, Independence, MO, brother Steve, Phoenix, AZ, mother Pauline, Phoenix, AZ and father John, Detroit, MI.

 He is survived by his wife, Janell, sister Sue, brother-in-law Richard, daughter Cheryl and her partner Jenara, daughter Brenda and her husband Josh, grandchildren Randy, Renee, Ryan, Bobbi, and Jason. Great grandchildren Maxwell, David, Maci, Aria, Amelia, and Ishaah. A large network of extended family in the Hiawatha, KS and Phoenix, AZ areas.

 Services are being postponed at this time, a Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
