Lynn Dean Bogart, 71, of Holt, MO, passed away suddenly on June 20, 2019. A memorial visitation will begin at 11:00 am, followed by military honors and sharing from Rev. Jimmie Bratcher (Lynn's cousin) beginning at 12 noon, on Saturday, June 29, at Park Lawn Lathrop Chapel, 901 Clinton Street, Lathrop, MO 64465. The visitation will conclude at 1:00 pm. Beginning at 2:00 pm, there will be a Celebration of Life held at Siloam Mountain Park, 607 Ellsworth Street, Excelsior Springs, MO 64024. All are invited. Sandwiches will be provided and those attending are encouraged to bring a side dish or dessert to share. Private burial at Antioch Cemetery, Holt.

Lynn was born May 23, 1948, in Holt, MO, the son of Paul and Alma (Bratcher) Bogart. He graduated from Polo High School and later served in the U.S. Air Force, receiving honorable discharge as a Staff Sergeant in 1971. Lynn worked as an IT Supervisor for Bank of America before he retired.

Along with his parents, Lynn was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Bogart, and sister, Gail Dennis. He leaves his children, Carissa Bock (John), Paul Bogart and Carrissa Forte (Michael); grandchildren, Caytlyn Dickey, Ethan Day and Evan Bock, as well as other family members and friends who loved him and will miss him greatly.

Service Information:
