“Steve” P. Boniello, 59, of N. Kansas City MO, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020. He was born in Kansas City on February 16, 1961 to Frederick and Josephine (Blando), but spent the majority of his childhood and younger life in Peekskill NY. He eventually moved back and settled his family to the Kansas City area. He enjoyed a long career with the City of Kansas City with his most recent position being a Program Specialist in the Neighborhood and Housing Services Department.
Steve is survived by his wife of 4 years Kim Chi; his loving children, Stephen and wife Laura, Daniel, Frank and wife Darcie; brothers Michael, Fred and wife Mary Ann, John and wife Joann, and sister Lisa Moynihan and husband Neil; aunts, Carm Guerra, Jane Blando, Mary Boniello and Katherine LeMatty. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Along with his parents, Steve was predeceased by his first wife Teresa Dziadzio Boniello.
Steve really enjoyed being outside and doing projects in the yard--there was nothing he couldn’t accomplish. He also loved cooking, playing Rock Band with his sons (he was in several bands in his younger years), shooting pool, and most of all spending time with his family. He had a great dry sense of humor and was the kind of guy that one could rely on to help in any situation. He really held old time values and was one of the most decent people you’d ever meet. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
