“The Lord gives and the Lord takes away, blessed be the name of the Lord.”
Elliot Andrew Bonnesen was born on Tuesday, January 7th at 4:49pm. He had a strong heartbeat throughout birth but unfortunately never took a breath. He weighed 4lbs 5oz and was 17 inches long. He was born with Bilateral Renal Agenesis, meaning he had no kidneys/renal system and therefore no amniotic fluid to develop his lungs.
He is survived by his parents, Taylor & Manda Bonnesen; grandparents Jeremy & Annabeth Bonnesen and Tim & Alisa Hopper; great grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and numerous other family members.
Despite the extreme heartbreak of this situation, Taylor and Manda are praising God for all He has done and will do through Elliot’s little life. We do not grieve as those without hope, and that is the blessing through all of it.
“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” -Romans 8:18
