Gerald Henry Bower

Gerald Henry Bower, 78, of Trimble, MO, passed away February 1, 2023, at the Dwight D. Eisenhower VA Medical Center in Leavenworth, KS.

Jerry was born September 30, 1944, in Hartford, CT, the son of Edward Willis Bower and Lavina Helen Crouch.  Following high school graduation in 1964, Jerry served in the US Air Force for four years, receiving honorable discharge as Airman First Class in 1968. Jerry was united in marriage to Caroline Arementha Stubbs on September 14, 1969, and they were blessed with two sons, Todd and Troy. Jerry worked 43 years as a Ramp Agent for Trans World Airlines and later American Airlines before he retired. He was a member of The Rock of KC.

Along with his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Caroline, in 2013.  Survivors include his sons, Todd (Valerie) Bower and Troy Bower; grandchildren, Lillian, Natalie and Alexandria Bower, Tyler (Samantha) Littleton, and his grandchildren’s mother, Jenny. He also leaves a brother, Kenny Crouch; and sisters, Barbara Dimond and Kay Anne Woodman; as well as other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO.  Burial with military honors will follow at Glenridge Cemetery.
