Joe R. Bradford

Joe Ray Bradford, 79, of Liberty, MO and formerly of Holt, MO, passed away October 19, 2021, at his home with family at his side.

Joe was born May 6, 1942, in Kansas City, MO. He was the son of Raymond F. and Loeta (Gage) Bradford. Along with his parents, Joe was preceded in death by a sister, Julia Gilmore. Joe was a graduate of East High School. He was united in marriage to Joyce Watson on Thanksgiving day, November 28, 1963, in Kansas City.

Joe worked many years as a floor layer and was an owner of E&T Carpet, Inc. for 23 years. He was a member of Sheffield Masonic Lodge #625 AF and AM.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Joyce; children, Mark Bradford (Amy), Chris Bradford (Christy) and Hope Lay (Randy); and grandchildren, Zachary Bradford, Quentin Bradford, Rachel Lay, Hayden Bradford, Emily Bradford and Carter Bradford.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, followed by a service celebrating Joe's life at 6:00 pm, on Monday, October 25, 2021, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Mayo Clinic (https://philanthropy.mayoclinic.org).

Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, followed by a service celebrating Joe’s life at 6:00 pm, on Monday, October 25, 2021, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO.
