Brigham N. Brannan, Jr., 74, passed away July 21, 2018. Visitation will be 9AM, with services at 11AM, Friday, July 27 at Heritage United Methodist Church in Overland Park, KS; burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 6800 W. 93rd St., Overland Park, KS 66212.
Brigham was born August 9, 1943 in Savannah, GA. He is married to Doris L. Brannan. Brigham was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. After 34 years of service, he retired from KCP&L. He then began his service at Excelsior Springs Job Corps and H&R Block.
Brigham was preceded in death by his parents, Brigham and Carrie Brannan; one daughter, Carmelita Davis, three sisters: Excedine Brannan, Amanee Williams and Rev. Carol King; and one brother, Floyd Disney Brannan. Survivors include his wife Doris Brannan; son Kevin A. Brannan (Samantha); one grandchild, Alexandria Brannan; three sisters: Constance “Khani” Morgan, Patricia Jackson, Lettie Smith (Larry); two sisters-in-law: Jeanette Robinson (Lawrence) and Laura Powell; six brothers-in-law: Allen Brown (Jospehine), Isaiah Brown (Joyce), James Brown, Theodore Brown (Joann), Jewel Brown (Faye) and John Brown (Almira).
