Kenneth Ray Brickey

April 4, 1930 — March 19, 2018

Kenneth Ray Brickey, 87, of Kansas City North, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2018, at NorthCare Hospice House. A memorial visitation will be held from 3-5 pm with military honors at 4 pm, on Tuesday, May 22, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty. Interment in Glenridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to NorthCare Hospice House.

Kenneth was born April 4, 1930, in Wood County, TX, one of nine children of Henry and Velma (Patrick) Brickey. Along with his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Patsy (Woodard) Brickey; and six siblings, Warren, Wyman, Florene, Grace, Dorothy and Gladys.

Kenneth served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict from 1952 until honorable discharge in 1954. He worked in Quality Control at Ford Motor Company for more than 30 years and was a member of the UAW.

Survivors include his children, Diane Scott (Jay), Terry Brickey (Lori) and Carla Brickey; granddaughters, Emily and Abigail; great granddaughter, Salem; sisters, Margie Praytor and Jewell Dean Fuller; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends, including a friend who was like a son, Kenneth Vanderpool.

Service Information:

Visitation from 3:00~5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, Liberty, Mo.
