Mary F. Burasco

Mary Francis Buchanan Burasco, age 80, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 4, 2021.

Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Frank Burasco. She is survived by three children: Karen Kellam, Debra Lagle (Joe) and Steven Burasco (Brooke); one sister, Carol Engleman (Michael); two brothers, Frank Buchanan (Jenny) and James Buchanan (Cindy); plus 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Mary was heavily involved in the PTA as her children were growing up and retired from the Administration Center for the Hickman Mills School District. She loved antiquing and collecting Evening in Paris and Katz Drugs memorabilia along with R. Atkinson Fox prints.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, November 20, 2021 at her home, 8813 Arlington Avenue, Kansas City, MO. Friends may call from 1:00 to 4:00. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or your local PTA.
