Leland A. “Lee” Burnett

Leland "Lee" A. Burnett, 92, passed April 2, 2019.  Leland was born November 6, 1926 in Ohio, MO, (St. Clair County), to Harry and Mary (Counterman) Burnett.  He was raised near Lowry City, MO and attended and graduated from Lowry City High School in 1945.  Leland was drafted in the Army and served 18 months.  Lee married Irene Blevins on February 14, 1952 and was married for 67 years.  They were members of Calvary Baptist Church in Butler, MO.  Leland is survived by his wife Irene Burnett, son Paul Burnett, son Harry Burnett, 9 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and several siblings.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church in Butler, MO, or to Heartland Hospice, Butler, MO.
