Donna Lee Rinker Burton, age 87, passed away June 28, 2021 after a very brief illness. She was born in Kansas City, MO on September 6, 1933 to Earl and Alice (Reed) Rinker.
She graduated from Paseo High School in 1951 and married Jerry Burton on May 3, 1956. Donna worked at AT&T early in her work life and then taught first and fifth grades in the Raytown School District.
Her passions were baseball, ballet, tap dancing, and tea parties with her granddaughters.
She is preceded in death by her brother Michael Rinker and survived by her husband of 65 years, Jerry, brother David (Ruth) Rinker, sister-in-law Carroll Rinker, daughter Rebecca Clark, daughter Anne (Blaine) Laufman, son Scott (Silvia) Burton, 12 nephews and nieces, 9 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
