Jerrold G. Burton

Jerrold Gene Burton, age 89, passed away September 3, 2021.

Jerry was born in Butler, MO on June 24, 1932 to Lloyd and Frances (Kern) Burton. He graduated from Paseo High School in 1951 and enlisted in the Navy soon after serving as a Machinist Mate during the Korean War. He married Donna Burton on May 3, 1956. Jerry was a mail carrier and afterwards Operations Manager at Pro Source, a food distribution company. His passions were horses, camping, and fishing.

Jerry is preceded in death by his wife Donna and survived by brother Kern (Beatriz) Burton, daughter Rebecca Clark, daughter Anne (Blaine) Laufman, son Scott (Silvia) Burton, 7 nephews and nieces, 9 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 11, at 10:00 am, at the John Knox Village Chapel, 400 NW Murray Road, Lee's Summit, MO.
