Cheryl “Girlfriend” Lynn Cantrell, age 74, of Kansas City, KS, passed away December 27, 2020, in her home.
Cheryl is survived by her husband and soul mate of 46 years, John T. Cantrell III; children and their spouses: Angela & Tracy Jones and Thomas & Christina Fortner; 5 grandchildren: John T. Fortner, Al’Xandrya Fortner, Gunnar Jones, Mason Fortner, Leighton Jones; 3 great grandchildren: Annalynn, Maverick and Waylon; 2 sisters-in-law; 1 brother-in-law; and several nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Garver; father, Wayne Simkins; and her brother, Wayne Simkins.
Due to current pandemic restrictions, private services will be held with burial at Green Lawn Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be directed to American Heart Association at www.heart.org
