D. Keith Carpenter

September 16, 1958 — July 24, 2021

D. Keith Carpenter, 62, of the Kansas City Northland, joined his Lord in Heaven on July 24, 2021.

Keith was born September 16, 1958, in Los Angeles, CA, the son of Grant Tucker and Gertrude Louise (Boone) Carpenter. He was united in marriage to Patrice Marie Ankney on May 30, 1982.

Keith served in the US Navy from 1983 until receiving honorable discharge in 1987. In 1989 he began his 32-year career as an Aircraft Mechanic with TWA, now American Airlines.

Keith became an Ordained Deacon at Providence Baptist Church on January 20, 2002. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Kearney and recently was attending Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Liberty.  He enjoyed traveling with his family, cruising and going on motorcycle trips with his wife, and was able to visit Israel twice. His greatest desire was for his family to know Jesus, to have a relationship with Him, and to see his family again in Heaven.

Along with his parents, Grant and Trudy, Keith leaves his wife of 39 years, Patrice; daughter, Suzie Miles (Donnie); grandchildren, Callie and Jaxon; siblings, Michael Carpenter and Lee Ann Moreland (Ron); as well as other family members and friends.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by a service celebrating Keith's life at 2:30 pm, on Friday, August 6, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291 Highway, Liberty, MO. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Thru the Bible (www.ttb.org).
