Catherine Mary Hiesberger

Catherine Mary Hiesberger, age 76, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away November 5, 2024, at the home. Visitation will be held 11am, Wednesday, November 13, with a memorial service beginning at 12 Noon. Committal in Green Lawn Cemetery will follow.

Cathy was born March 11, 1948, in Blue Earth, Minnesota, to Henry and Catherine Dulas.

Cathy was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend. Family always came first to her, and everyone who knew her can attest to the attention given and concern shown for her husband, Chuck. She loved him with all of her heart. She was a beautician for over 40 years and was the owner and operator of Cathy’s Clip & Curl Salon. She had a heart of gold and an infectious fun-loving personality. After retirement she became a nanny to her grand dog, Rascal, who was a great joy in her life. 

The kitchen is where Cathy cooked up the most amazing dishes using 'the old Catholic' recipes obtained from both her biological and church families. People who enjoyed her delicacies and conversation knew how special these times were, and no one ever left the table hungry. 

In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her siblings: Kenny Dulas, Billy Dulas, Henry Dulas Jr., Sharon Roberts, and Lorena Corey.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Chuck Hiesberger; son and his wife, Chad & Mallory Hiesberger; step-daughters and their husbands: Shawna & Chuck Allen, Brenda & Kenny Durham; siblings: Bernie Dulas, Elaine Stenzel, Sister Lorena, JoAnn Iverson, Linda Giese, Leon Dulas, Eddie Dulas, Jerry Dulas; step-grandchildren: Sophia, Nick, Isabelle, Grant, Noah, and Faith; as well as numerous loving extended family members and friends.

Memorial tributes may be directed to the parish where she and Chuck celebrated their spiritual beliefs: Guardian Angels Parish, 1310 Westport Rd., Kansas City, MO 64111.
