Helen L. Chisam

Helen Louise (Brooks) Chisam, 81, passed away August 11, 2019, at 9:08 pm. She was born at home in Waldron, MO on April 20, 1938.

Helen leaves her husband, Thornton D. Chisam; two daughters, Cathy J. Hartman (Ronald) and Lisa G. Walters. Helen was the eldest of five siblings. Her sisters and brother are Nadine Shannon, Mary Johnson, Nina Shannon and Dennis Brooks. She also leaves three grandchildren, Michael Hartman, Christopher Hartman and Julia Walters; four great grandchildren, Brandon Hartman, Payge Hartman, Jonnathon Hartman, Eva Hartman; and a great-great granddaughter, Ameliah Ziegler.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Thursday, August 15, and funeral 1:00 pm Friday, August 16, all at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty. Burial will follow in Glenridge Cemetery. Arrangements: Park Lawn Northland Chapel (816) 781-8228.
