Christie Charlene Warren

Christie “Chris” Charlene (Fermyn) Warren, 62, of Kearney, MO, passed away unexpectedly on  August 5th, 2024 at her home.

Chris was born June 30, 1962  in Independence, MO to Emil and Allena Mae (Enloe) Fermyn.  She graduated from Van Horn High in 1980. She worked dispatch at Sugar Creek Police Department, Recorder of Deeds for Clay County and is retired from Bayer. She loved camping, plants, supporting the military, Chiefs and Royals, family, and Coffee. Most of all she cherished her grandson.

Chris is survived by her husband of 35 years Ronald Warren; daughters Traci See and Allena Warren (Eric Henry Jr.); Stepdaughter Apryl DesJardins (Ray DesJardins); Stepson Brandon Warren; Three sisters Terry Thompson, Rosemary Swank (Jerry Swank) and Becky Foster; twin step granddaughters Victoria and Madison Dudley; and grandson Eric Henry III.

Chris was preceded in death by her mother Allena Mae Fermyn; Father Emil Fermyn; and sister Johnna Lane.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 24th at 11am at the Providence Baptist Church (12206 N Stark Ave, Kansas City, MO 64167 ). The family will receive friends beginning at 10am.
