Anna Lee Clark

Anna Lee (Grimsley) Clark, 100, of Liberty, MO, passed peacefully on February 7, 2023, at Laurel at Norterre with family at her side.

Anna Lee was born October 16, 1922, in Quitman, MO, the younger of two daughters of Charles and Martha Vera (Rodman) Grimsley. She grew up in Quitman and graduated from high school there. Anna Lee was united in marriage to Joseph Stanley Clark for 64 years until his death in 2006. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Kathryn Burson. Anna Lee worked as a beautician in Liberty for many years. She was a member of the Liberty United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her children, Sue Ann Irminger and Stan Clark (Betsy); grandchildren, Pamela Whitman (Mike), Brian Irminger, Spencer Clark (Fallon) and Evan Clark (Katelynn); great grandchildren, Brady Whitman, Blakely Whitman, Sydney Clark, Tripp Clark, Harper Clark, Quinn Clark and Leighton Clark; as well as nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 4, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO. Private burial will follow at Glenridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Catholic Community Hospice.
