Major Gerald E. Clark, “Bud”, 78, passed away November 28, 2019. He retired from the United States Army. During his time in the military, Gerald was a gun ship pilot and received several medals including the Distinguished Flying Cross, National Defense Service Medal, Master Army Aviator Badge and Overseas Service Ribbon as well as many others. After retiring from the United States Army, Mr. Clark worked for and retired from AGC Glass as the Richmond, Kentucky Warehouse Supervisor. He was Vice-President of Vietnam Veterans of America, Richmond, Kentucky Chapter 1066 and a member of Queen City Masonic Lodge in Clarksville, Tennessee. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Byrl Clark and Adaline Elida Gray Clark; son, William David Clark; and a great grandchild, Jerika Lynn Clark. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Clark; sister, Linda Clark Heugel and her husband Ray; children: Kathi S. Clark Schneider, Gerald B. Clark, Kenneth S. Clark, Keith E. Clark, James E. Clark and Jeri Lynn Clark Karr; stepchildren: Jason C. Chapman, Jeremy R. Chapman and Amber J. Chapman Rachford; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 11 step grandchildren.
Visitation will be 12PM, service to follow at 1PM, Friday, December 6 at Park Lawn, 8251 Hillcrest Rd.; burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
