LINDA JEAN (CARTER) CLARK, 75, a longtime Liberty resident, joined her Lord and Savior on May 28, 2021, at Valley Manor in Excelsior Springs where she resided since 2015.
Linda was born April 14, 1946, in Powersville, MO, the daughter of Virgil and Florence (Riddle) Carter. She was united in marriage to Charles Eugene Clark on October 8, 1966 in Aiken, SC, and they were married 50+ years until his death on June 27, 2017. For 35 years Linda provided day care in her home for children, mostly of school teachers. She was a member of Liberty Church of the Nazarene for 50 years.
Along with her parents and husband, Linda was preceded in death by her brothers Leon DeWitt, Larry DeWitt, and Gary Carter, and her sister Mary (Carter) Trent. Survivors include her sons, Mark (wife Sue) and Jerry (wife Carrie); her grandchildren, Ari, Bri, Zac, and Austin; and her great granddaughter Charli Jean.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm, followed by a service celebrating Linda's life at 3:00 pm, on Saturday, June 5, at the Liberty Church of the Nazarene, 1400 Southview Drive, Liberty, MO. Burial in Glenridge Cemetery.
