Mary Louise Clark

Mary Louise Clark, 96, died peacefully on April 15, 2021 at Our Lady of Mercy County Home. Loving family members were singing hymns at her bedside when she passed away.

Mary Lou was born October 15, 1924, in Green, Kansas, the eldest of three children of Harry and Ethel (Rundle) Eibert. She graduated from high school in Abilene, KS. Mary Lou was united in marriage to Darrel Clark on March 27, 1943 and they were blessed with four daughters, Carolyn, Kathleen, Jeanneen and Lisa.

Mary Lou worked in Admissions at Children's Mercy Hospital before she retired. She was a longtime member of Northminster Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Red Hat Society.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Ethel; her husband of 50 years, Darrel; and brother, Wayne Eibert. Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Myers (Bren), Kathleen Quinn (Mick), Jeanneen Morris (John) and Lisa Manley; grandchildren, Chad, TJ, Seth, Mindy, Michael, Mary, Jeff, Melanie, Elisabeth, Madeline, Ellen, Mitchell and Satchel; 32 great grandchildren; her sister, Carol Siefkes; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Mary Lou will be lovingly remembered for her sense of humor, faith in God and love for her family. She enjoyed reading and had a passion for writing. Family and friends will treasure her many letters and other writings as keepsakes. Three generations of her family cherish memories of trips with their Mom and Grandma to Rocky Mountain National Park, a place Mary Lou loved to visit.

Visitation will begin at 1:30 pm, followed by a service celebrating Mary Lou's life at 3:00 pm, on Sunday, April 18, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO. Private burial at Glenridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Our Lady of Mercy Country Home or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
