It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Claude E. Miller, age 75 of Kansas City, Missouri on October 6, 2024, at St Luke’s Hospital after battling heart disease.

Claude was born May 6, 1949, in Kansas City, MO to Harold and Lois Miller. Claude enlisted in the Army at 17 and served in Korea and Vietnam before meeting the love of his life, Cynthia Sherer of Liberty, Missouri. They were married in 1977 and together they raised three sons. A man of many talents and an ability to fix almost anything, Claude’s life was filled with tremendous passion and service to others. Among other things, Claude was a soldier and worked as a police officer, mechanic, and emergency medical technician.

Claude was a devoted son, husband, father, brother, and grandfather who made sure everyone around him was cared for. His passion was working on and building custom vehicles, fishing, caring for animals, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia and her parents Shirley and Bruce Lowry; three sons and daughters-in-law: Matthew (Kimberly), Ryan (Sydney), and Scott (Hope); and grandchildren: Nathaniel, Claire, Emily, Aubrey, and Harper; and two sisters Madge and Belle.
