Clifford Eugene Hickman passed away peacefully on July 30, 2024, in North Kansas City Missouri. He was born on March 31, 1930, in Hutchison, Kansas to his loving parents Hortie and Dora (Smith) Hickman.
Clifford was proud of his service in the United States Army during the Korean War and took great satisfaction in his efforts to provide quality meals that were enjoyed by his fellow servicemen. A man of unwavering faith and kindness, Clifford touched many lives with his selfless and caring nature. He was an active member at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, singing in the choir and serving as a deacon and prayer minister. He also enjoyed providing music and ministry to the residents at Pleasant Valley Manor on Sunday mornings for many years.
His family was everything to him and he took great pride in being a devoted husband to “his Queen” Norma Lea (Collings) Hickman for over 69 years until his passing. He is also survived by their three children Debra, Tracy, Michelle (husband Loren); grandchildren Dianna, Matthew (wife Susie), Jenna, Jordan; great grandchildren Chloe and Lincoln.
Clifford was proceeded in death by his parents Hortie and Dora Smith Hickman, sisters Violet Walker and Dorothy Kaufman.
