William Edgar “Ed” Clifton

William Edgar "Ed" Clifton, age 83, of Raytown, Missouri, passed away November 2, 2020. Funeral service will be 10AM, Friday, November 6, 2020, at One Spirit United Methodist Church, 7900 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO, 64138, with burial following at Green Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday evening, 5-7PM, at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, MO 64138.

Ed was born March 8, 1937, in Princeton, West Virginia. He served in the United States Air Force from 1956-1962. He worked as a millwright and was employed by Kitterman Plastics Inc. He was a member of the Swinging Squares square dancing club and Boy Scouts Troop 341.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. Survivors include sister, Jane Meadows; his daughter, Deborah Clifton Dillon; sons: Steven Clifton, Jeffrey Clifton, Russell Clifton; 9 grandkids: Mathew Clifton, Josh Clifton, Brady Ramsey, Gregor Clifton, Gabrielle Clifton, Christopher Dillon, Shaylee Clifton, Savannah Dillon, Misra Clifton; 5 great grandkids: Ariana Clifton, Zayna Clifton, Hayden Dillon, Kaliyah Henderson and Karielle Henderson.
