Clyde Earl Morrison Jr.

(known to most as C.E.)

11/12/1947 - 10/25/2024

C.E. started working in 1967 at the Quisenberry Mills in Kansas City, Mo. until he was drafted into the U.S. Army from January, 1968-1970, serving in Vietman and safely returning to the U.S. He returned to work at Quisenberry until 1984 when he started driving a Concrete truck for Botsford Construction.

Marty and C.E. got married August 31, 1984 after a short courtship. They both loved riding motorcycles and traveling with friends to see the Country. They also bowled on leagues and enjoyed family events. C.E. retired in 2008 after 24 years from LaFarge Concrete company.

Then moving in 2016 to Tropic Star RV resort was a life time change, meeting lots of new people and some from the Kansas City area. Playing card games was his favorite, but he also was interested in woodworking (which he had done some in Missouri). He loved sharing his knowledge of making ink pens, bowls and cutting boards with others in the Resort.

C.E. fought a long hard battle with lung cancer (caused by Agent Orange, Service related) that began in September, 2021.

C.E. is leaving his wife, Marty; a brother David and wife (Kathy); a step-son, Duane Chapman and wife (Christine), two grandchildren; two nephews, Bob Morrison and wife (Carrie) and their families; Jeff Morrison and wife (Kari) and their families; a niece, Cheryl Cox and husband (Brett) and their families.

In honor of Clyde Morrison, the family is requesting donations to Texas Oncology, 1901 S. 2nd St., McAllen, Texas 78503.
