JEREMY CRISPIN CUSHING

God took a very special soul today. He gave Jeremy to us February 15, 1973, to care for him but for a short while, to share his wonderfully witty life and to love him forever.

On February 23, 2022, Jeremy left this world reuniting his entire spirit with God; no longer to experience the beauty and wonder of this world, but to enter the pure bliss of God's eternal love, still a vital part of this universe.

I have heard it said that he was too gentle for this earth. He gave little regard to the material things...to a fault. But that was his only fault which may have manifested itself in different ways. He was truly a good man. Jeremy was kind, polite, courteous and respectful to others. That was Jeremy's gift and he shared it graciously. His smile, the gleam in his eyes, his cornball jokes, off the cuff wit, his touch, his voice, even the way he walked will be dearly missed.

Thank you dear Lord, our God, for sharing this very special spirit with us and giving us his love to cherish forever.

Jeremy leaves behind his partner, Leslie Sanders; mother, Mary Ann Mathiasch and husband Bill; father, John A. Cushing and wife Theresa; sister, Nicole Turner, her husband Mike and their sons Mason and Landen; brothers, Brian Neal and his daughter Autumn Sanders, and Daniel Cushing and wife Pauline; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends.

It gives us solace that evidence shows Jeremy died peacefully and in no pain.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Tuesday, March 1, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, 1640 North State Route 291, Liberty, MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Shelter KC or to Hillcrest Ministries in Liberty, MO.
