Cynthia White

Cynthia Lynn White, 57, of Greenwood, Missouri, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospital in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. She was born on March 20, 1967, in Panorama, California. Cynthia was the eldest of two children born to the late Donald and Norma (Vielbig) Paris. 

Cindy worked for GEHA Insurance Company as a Fulfillment Associate for 38 years. She was a selfless and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She took great joy in spoiling her grandchildren with gifts and sweets as often as she could. Cindy met the love of her life, James White, in 1985 during their senior year at Center High School in Kansas City, Missouri. Her determination and persistence in obtaining James’s senior photo sparked the beginning of their love story. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 37 years, James White, their son, Jared (Jordyn) White, their daughter, Lisa (Michael) Wagner, and her grandchildren: Hunter, Addison, Avery, Bailey, Elijah, Landon, and Leo. She is also survived by her brother, Greg Paris, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. 

In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her grandson, Hudson Wagner. 

Visitation will be held at Park Lawn Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
