Holly Davis

Holly Davis, age 55, died at her home in Olathe, KS Monday June 25^th. Holly was proud to have been “born on the island” on July 3, 1962 in Galveston, Texas.   Other than when her husband was stationed in the Army in Fort Campbell, KY, Mainz, Germany and Fort Mead, MD, she lived most of her life in Prairie Village and Overland Park, Kansas. She graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School in 1980 followed by Baker University. She received a Bachelor’s degree in social work from Avila University.   She found much joy helping children with special needs when she worked as a paraeducator in the Blue Valley School District. She was a hidden artist who had an amazing gift of creating beautiful watercolor prints. Holly is survived by her beloved husband of 31years, John Davis; daughter and son-in-law, Megan and Michael Harris; grandson, Matthew Harris; parents, Robert and Marilyn Littlejohn; siblings and their spouses, Christy and Matthew Mayo, and Robert and Missy Littlejohn; and many nieces and nephews. Holly will be remembered for her kind spirit and love for her family and friends. Visitation will be on Saturday July 7, 2018 at 10 a.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Family, friends, and others whose lives were touched by Holly are invited to gather with us to celebrate her life. The Visitation and Memorial services will be held at Countryside Christian Church, 6101 Nall Avenue, Mission, KS. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
