Dawn Vanbibber

Dawn (VandeVoorde) VanBibber, 57, of Blue Springs, Mo died Wednesday, April 22,2020 at St Mary’s Medical Center of Blue Springs, Mo with complications following her first chemo treatment.

Dawn was born March 24, 1963 to Judy and Daryl VandeVoorde in Mitchell SD; moving to Independence, MO in 1969. She attended Blue Hills and Courtney Elementary and graduated Fort Osage, Class of 81’.

Dawn lived in Blue Springs and taught at Creme de la Creme in Kansas City; serving many families over the years. Dawn took great pride in her job, preparing children for life; receiving high honors in her field.

Dawn is survived by 5 children: Jennifer Droll and husband Jordon of Waxahachie, TX and their 2 children Maddox and Liam; Matthew Barthel, of Waxahachie TX, Nick VanBibber, Chris VanBibber, and Tyler Wakes of Blue Springs, Mo and grandson Chris Jr of Lee Summit, Mo.; Sister, Valinda Scruggs and husband George of Waxahachie TX, brother, Scott VandeVoorde and wife Kerstin of Waxahachie, TX; sister, Michelle Sprague of Tonasket, WA and husband Doug; numerous friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.
